How long will it take? We work on a schedule that takes about five months to complete your home, from Contract to Closing. A working day must have weather conditions permitting work to progress. When adverse conditions occur, such as rain and snow, that affect the ability of work crews to perform in a safe and productive environment, the On-site Construction Manager will assess the duration of the weather related delay and will declare the delay as a schedule delay or a workable condition. Visiting the Site: You may visit the site if you have scheduled so with your Sales Rep or the Superintendent, otherwise please refrain from entering the build site during normal working hours. Scheduled Walkthroughs/Meetings: You will have a few scheduled meetings throughout the process in order to ensure understanding and execution of designs and options for your home. · Pre-Construction Meeting · Framing/Electrical Walkthrough · Interior Trim/Landscaping Walkthrough · Pre-Closing Walkthrough/Inspection · Closing and Final Walkthrough including Orientation Changes During Construction: We will make changes during construction provided that the changes do not immensely affect or inhibit progress or on-time completion of your home. The Superintendent will have discretion on all changes during progress and will always make an effort to ensure your satisfaction. Changes must be approved by the Super and Construction Manager, then a change order must be signed, and in some cases the modifications will require payment in full before they are executed. * Keep in mind under no circumstances will homeowners is allowed to do work on their home. For insurance, liability, and safety reasons we cannot allow you to do your own work no matter your qualifications. |
